woven tapestries etc.
This tapestry measures 11 1/2 inches wide and 8 1/2 inches tall. It was inspired by the eye dazzler blankets woven by Native Americans in the southwest. This tapestry could be displayed as a mat or under glass. It could also be mounted and framed at a frame shop or could be used as the front of a bag. This was sewn one bead at a time using a needle and beading thread using tiny size 15 Miyuki glass seed beads. It took me many hours to make. (The camera distorted this piece, it's not crooked in real life.)
The above two squares each measure 4.5 inches wide and 4.75 inches tall. They will become a purse with one on the front and the other on the reverse. These are a work in progress.
